ESPN.COM CONTINUES TO REIGN AMONG SPORTS SITES; SITE CONTINUES TO SHOW YEAR-OVER-YEAR GROWTH
ESPN.com, the leading sports site, continued to widen its lead over competitors, generating 7.185 million unique users in August, a 15% increase from a year ago, according to the August Media Metrix survey. By comparison, the SportsLine.com sites attracted 5.218 million unique users last month, and CNNSI.com had 3.136 million.
