TORONTO (AP) _ Markus Naslund had two goals and Artem Chubarov scored with 8:37 left in the third period to give the Vancouver Canucks a 4-3 preseason win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night.

The Maple Leafs lost for the first time in three preseason games while Vancouver won its first NHL preseason game after a pair of exhibition wins in Sweden last week.

Chubarov, a 20-year-old Russian in his second NHL season, picked up a loose puck behind Toronto's goal and jammed it in the short side past a surprised Jimmy Waite.

Greg Hawgood also scored for Vancouver, which rallied from a 3-2 deficit in the third period.

The Canucks were 0-for-7 on the power play with just four shots.

Adam Mair and Don MacLean each scored their second goal of the preseason for Toronto, and Steve Thomas scored in the third period to put the Maple Leafs ahead 3-2.

Toronto outshot Vancouver 27-20.

Swedish twins Daniel and Henrik Sedin were not in Vancouver's lineup. They're expected to make their NHL preseason debuts Wednesday in Montreal.
