The lowdown
2000-01 record: 10-20; 4-14 in Pac-10 (t9th)
Final Ranking: NR
Postseason: None.
Three Questions for 2001-02
1. Will Connecticut transfer Doug Wrenn be the go-to player for the Huskies? Will he have as calm a season as he had sitting out for Washington?
2. How much can the Huskies expect to get from the all-Washington recruiting class? Can all five players contribute? Will there be too much pressure on them to do so?
3. Who will replace Will Perkins, Thalo Green and Greg Clark inside? Will it be the newcomers? Can it be Marlon Shelton or David Dixon?
Andy Katz's Scenarios
Best case: The Washington recruiting class is better than anyone thought and the Huskies are a competitive team able to finish as high as seventh.
Worst case: Wrenn is all alone and can't get enough help on the wing, the Huskies finish last and struggle to win on the road.
