SAN ANTONIO (AP) _ Charles Barkley's free throw and steal sealed the Houston Rockets' 79-77 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night in the final exhibition game for both teams. Barkley made the first of two free throws to give Houston (3-5) the two-point lead with 12 seconds left. On the Spurs' final possession he stole Terry Porter's cross-court pass as time expired. Shandon Anderson's layup with 46 seconds remaining had given Houston a 78-77 lead. Tim Duncan led the Spurs (2-4) with 21 points and 15 rebounds, nine in the first quarter. Chucky Brown added 15 points and seven rebounds for San Antonio, which played without center David Robinson who sat out with back spasms. Anderson led the Rockets with 18 points, while Barkley had 15 points and 10 rebounds.
