LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Rookie Lamar Odom scored 10 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter and Derek Anderson added 26 points as the Los Angeles Clippers closed the preseason with a 118-108 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. Antawn Jamison led the grossly undermanned Warriors with 41 points, the most by any player during the preseason and one more than Stephon Marbury had for New Jersey. The Clippers (5-3), who had the second-worst record in the league last season, finished their exhibition schedule with a winning record for the first time since 1995. Trailing by as many as seven points with 6:17 left in the third quarter, Los Angeles went on a 14-3 run to pull ahead 88-84 with 46 seconds left in the period. Anderson, who sank all 11 free throws, helped fuel the run with a pair of 3-pointers. After Clippers forward Maurice Taylor received his second technical foul from referee Terry Durham with 7:08 remaining, the lead changed hands three times before Los Angeles took the lead for good, 109-107, on a jumper and a slam dunk by Odom with 2:39 left. The baskets helped fuel a game-ending 13-1 spurt. Wearing a facemask throughout the preseason to protect a broken nose suffered in a pickup game before the start of training camp, Jamison powered the Warriors (3-5) to a 67-60 halftime lead by shooting 10-for-15 from the field. He finished 17-for-28 overall in his final dress rehearsal for Tuesday night's season opener at Dallas. The Clippers' 16th season in Los Angeles also begins Tuesday night, against Seattle in the first NBA regular-season game at Staples Center. The Lakers play here for the first time next Wednesday against Vancouver. Seven regulars were missing from the Warriors' lineup, including John Starks with a strained right knee; Mookie Blaylock with a strained left calf, Jason Caffey with a sore right ankle and Donyell Marshall with tendinitis in his left knee. Six of the seven are expected back for the opener, except Erick Dampier, who had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.
