SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- First, Jason Williams helped the Sacramento Kings slow Allen Iverson. Then, he took charge with a rare barrage of precise outside shooting.
Williams hit four of his five 3-pointers in the third quarter as the Kings broke open a close game with a 13-0 run in a 117-95 victory Sunday over the road-weary Philadelphia 76ers.

Vlade Divac had 14 points, 11 rebounds and a season-high 11
assists for his sixth career triple-double and Chris Webber added
26 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for the Kings.
Williams, shooting just 27 percent from 3-point range this
season, went 5-for-7 from behind the arc and finished with 18
points.
"He got a lot of shots, because we were helping out on their
big guys," said Philadelphia's Eric Snow, who spent most of the
game guarding Williams. "We know he's a streak shooter, and he was
making his shots tonight."
The Kings shot 57 percent in the game and went 10-for-19 on
3-pointers.
Iverson scored 23 points, six below his average. Nick Anderson
was the primary defender responsible for guarding Iverson, but
Williams and Tony Delk also took turns.
"We know the guy can score. He likes to get to the basket. So
we collapsed on him and made him pass off the basketball,"
Anderson said. "We're such a high-powered offensive team, that's
the way teams look at us. But that's not only the case."
Iverson, who scored a career-high 50 points the last time he faced
the Kings on Feb. 6 in Philadelphia, had 10 points in the first
quarter and scored his 18th point to pull the Sixers within 69-67
with 5:14 left in the third period.
But Iverson did not score again until hitting two free throws
with 7:03 remaining, and by that time Williams and the Kings had
taken command.
"We proved in Philadelphia that if you don't guard him, he's
going to light you up. When we looked at the tape of that game, we
saw he scored a lot of his points on layups and fast breaks,"
Kings coach Rick Adelman said. "We did a better job on him
today."
The 76ers committed eight of their 18 turnovers in the third
period, and the Kings outscored Philadelphia 34-22 in that quarter.
"We didn't shoot well, we didn't guard well, and that's always
a terrible combination," Philadelphia coach Larry Brown said. "In
the second half, they were scoring every time, and that enabled
them to set their defense. The last time, Allen went off on them in
transition."
For the Sixers, a trip that began with wins at Indiana and
Minnesota fell apart as they moved farther west. They had their
season-high seven-game winning streak snapped at Utah, then
finished the trip with losses against the Lakers and Kings.
After leading 56-51 at halftime, the Kings were ahead 72-69 when
they went on the 13-0 run that included back-to-back 3-pointers by
Williams and another 3 by Anderson. Sacramento led 90-73 entering
the fourth quarter.
The Kings increased their lead to 96-73 on a leaning jumper by
Delk with 9:26 left in the fourth period, and were not challenged
the rest of the game.
Webber had 14 points and Divac had 12 as the Kings took a
five-point halftime lead. Iverson had 12 points to lead the 76ers,
and held Williams without an assist in the first half.
Game notes
The last time Philadelphia won in Sacramento was March 1,
1989. ... Patrick Ireland, who was wounded a year ago during the
shooting rampage at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo., was
an honorary ballboy for the game. He was invited by Webber and
spent the game sitting behind the Kings' bench. ... Iverson was
below his season average in each of the last three games of the
trip. He was held to 18 at Utah and 15 against the Lakers. ... The
Kings improved to 2-5 on NBC this season. ... Sacramento coach Rick
Adelman got his 426th win, leaving him one behind Tom Heinsohn for
26th on the career list.
