PEORIA, Arizona (Ticker) -- Brian Boehringer continued his comeback with an impressive outing as the San Diego Padres earned a 4-3 victory over the Anaheim Angels in a matchup of split squads. Boehringer, who underwent surgery last season for a slight tear in his rotator cuff, gave up two hits over four scoreless innings, walking none and striking out four. The righthander has not allowed an earned run in six innings this spring. John Roskos went 2-for-2 and highlighted San Diego's three-run seventh with a two-run double. Matt Walbeck had three hits and Pat Kelly a solo homer for Anaheim. Seth Etherton started for the Angels and gave up one run and two hits in three innings, walking two and striking out six.
