Elden Campbell
Campbell's biggest challenge this year will be Bourbon St.
CAN YOU SAY CULTURE SHOCK?
From Billy Graham Parkway to Bourbon Street, from a town that shuts down at 11 to one that's open 25/7 -- and from constant uncertainty to relative security. Sure, you wonder about the possible effect of N'Awlins on the easily-distracted Elden Campbell. But with Baron Davis back, Jamal Mashburn healthy (maybe) and P.J. Brown always steady, this solid cast should actually benefit from the departure of last year's sideshow.

STARTING FIVE
Backcourt is still a bit on the small side. But a full season from Monster Mash, and these guys might run away and hide, turning the Central Division into the Big Easy.

Central Division
1. Hornets
2. Pacers
3. Pistons
4. Raptors
5. Bucks
6. Hawks
7. Bulls
8. Cavs
Scouting Report Index

P.J. Brown, PF: Never fancy, always dependable: 8.4 ppg, 9.8 rpg in 2001-02

Elden Campbell, C: Magloire starts until he recovers from left knee surgery
David Wesley, SG: Shooting percentage dropped to 40% last season
Baron Davis, PG: Yeah, but why can't he shoot free throws (58%)?

Jamaal Magloire, George Lynch and Stacey Augmon will lock you up. Courtney Alexander is insurance for Wesley at the 2.

Hey, Baron Davis -- they paid you the cash, now it's time to deliver.
