Dick's Stock Watch identifies whose stock is up and whose is down over the past week across the world of sports.
STOCK UP: Tubby Smith and Kentucky, Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Shaq
Tubby Smith and Kentucky -- Tubby is my choice for coach of the year in college basketball, and his Wildcats have been on an incredible run. Do you know how hard it is to go unbeaten in the SEC? Kentucky has won 20 in a row. I knew how good Tubby Smith was before this season. Think back on what fans were saying after the loss to Louisville.
Wisconsin -- The Badgers deserve a stock up for winning their first outright Big Ten regular-season championship since 1947. Bo Ryan has his team well-prepared game after game.
Wake Forest -- The Demon Deacons won their first ACC regular-season outright championship since 1962, when the school had a player named Billy Packer!
Shaquille O'Neal and the Lakers -- Shaq has been on a tear, totaling 79 points in his last two games, wins over Minnesota and Philadelphia. The Shaq and Kobe Show is at it again, and NBA opponents had better watch out as the Lakers make a run at a four-peat!
STOCK DOWN: Georgia, St. Bonaventure, Vladimir Klitschko, Cavaliers
Georgia -- What is going on with Bulldogs hoops? Who knows what is the truth and what isn't any more? Jim Harrick Jr. was fired, and this story isn't going away.
St. Bonaventure -- The Bonnies should be banned from the Atlantic 10. What happened was a disgrace as the team just quit and ran after a teammate was declared ineligible and the Bonnies had to forfeit six league games.
Vladimir Klitschko -- The heavyweight contender, considered by many to be a serious challenge for Lennox Lewis, didn't last four minutes in being KO'd in round two by 37-year-old South African journeyman Corrie Sanders.
Cleveland Cavaliers -- The Cavs have won just 11 games so far this season and have a a six-game losing streak going right now.
