DENVER (AP) -- Jorge Dely Valdes scored the game's only goal to lead the Colorado Rapids to a 1-0 victory over Los Angeles on Saturday night, snapping the Galaxy's three-game winning streak. Dely Valdes' goal, in the 41st minute, broke a four-game home drought for the Rapids, who had not scored at Mile High Stadium since July 28. Matt McKeon sent a pass to a charging Paul Bravo who took a shot that ricocheted off defender Paul Caligiuri. Dely Valdes got the rebound and put it past Kevin Hartman who managed to get a hand on the game-winning shot, but couldn't keep it out of the net. The Galaxy (18-10), who had several scoring opportunities, remained in first place in the Western Conference as the Rapids (18-9) moved back into second place, only two points behind. | ALSO SEE Soccer Scoreboard RECAPS Columbus 1 New England 0
