EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) _ Brian Swanson scored a power-play goal 28 seconds into overtime to give the Edmonton Oilers a 2-1 exhibition victory over the Ottawa Senators on Monday night.

Joaquin Gage and Eric Heffler combined to make 33 saves for the Oilers (3-1-0), and Mike Fountain stopped 18 shots for the Senators (1-2-1).

Ottawa's Mike Fisher opened the scoring at 2:12 of the first period, and Michel Riesen tied it on a power play with 6:18 left in the period.
