ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Mike Leclerc scored twice and Steve Rucchin had the other goal as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim recorded their first exhibition win, 3-0 over the expansion Minnesota Wild.

Leclerc tallied with 47 seconds left in the opening period to give Anaheim the only goal it needed. He doubled the advantage seven minutes into the third period.

Rucchin scored three minutes later for the Ducks, who had been outscored by a combined 6-0 in their two previous contests. They were 0-for-9 on the power play but held the Wild scoreless in five chances.

Dominic Roussel needed just 18 saves for the shutout.

Anaheim peppered goalies Manny Fernandez and Jamie McClennan with 36 shots, including 13 in each of the last two periods. Minnesota remained winless at 0-1-1.
