1. How will Sue Bird of Connecticut match up with Oklahoma's Stacy Dales?

Mowins: Sue Bird brings so much to UConn, but Stacey Dales has the size and maybe the advantage in defending Bird because of the Sooners sophomore's long arms and quick feet, which could make it tough for Bird to get a shot off. Also, Dales' confidence should be as high as Bird's. They're both playing really well right now, and aren't afraid of taking anybody on. Dales shut down Purdue's Katie Douglas, so she has to feel like she can play on anybody.

2. What does Oklahoma need to do to upset top-seeded Connecticut?

Mowins: Phylesha Whaley has to establish herself early. Purdue was able to take her out of the game with double- and triple-teams and not only prevented her from shooting, but also from getting the ball. Oklahoma needs to be more patient and wait for Whaley to find space inside. They weren't patient against Purdue, and it hurt them, especially in the first half, but against UConn, the Sooners need to bide their time and get the ball to Whaley.

Also, their transition defense has to get back and stop UConn from getting on the break, something no one has been able to do this year. Another solid performance from the Sooners' reserves is a must. Watch for LaNeishea Caufield's defense to have an impact. She can run and slash as well as UConn's Kennitra Johnson.

3. Will Louisiana State's lack of depth hurt the Tigers?

Meyers: No. This is the same team that beat Georgia earlier this year. And the best thing about LSU is that the Tigers can get down and fall behind, but they can also come back and win.

And although LSU doesn't go deep, the Tigers do try and run with you. Katrina Hibbert might be the only senior, but sophomore center DeTrina White and junior guard Marie Ferdinand can really do some damage against an opponent.

4. Will Duke reach the Final Four for the second consecutive season?

Meyers: Anything can happen, but Duke-LSU will be a tough game in itself. Duke does have the advantage in terms of experience, and the Blue Devils have done an incredible job without Peppi Browne. The best part about Duke is that some of its other players have now stepped up, including Sheana Mosch.
