Final Ranking: NR
Postseason: None
Three Questions for 2001-02
1. The Rams lost five seniors off last year's squad, but have some talented JUCO players coming in. Can they fill the holes in a hurry?
2. Making shots from the perimeter wasn't as much of a problem with John Sivesind and Ron Grady, but both are gone -- along with nearly 30 percent of the Rams' offense of a year ago. Where does the offense come from now?
3. Andy Birley was adequate at the point, but he's got to be better to handle some of the better guards in the league like Tony Bland at San Diego State, Marlon Parmer at New Mexico and Travis Spivey at Utah. Will he?
Andy Katz's Scenarios
Best case: The Rams click, finish third in the league and make a run at an NCAA Tournament berth but likely finish in the NIT.
Worst case: They get pushed too far down in the standings, finishing below Utah, New Mexico, San Diego State and Wyoming and end up out of the postseason.
