OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Suddenly, Antawn Jamison has become an all-around force for the Golden State Warriors. Registering a career-high in scoring for the second time in as many outings, Jamison scored 37 points and had 18 rebounds to lead the Warriors past the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-103 Friday night for their second straight win after losing 12 in a row. "I knew there would come a time where I really start to get into my own and feel comfortable about my game," said Jamison, the Warriors' first-round pick out of North Carolina two years ago. "Don't get me wrong. There is still room for improvement. But every time I come out on the court, I feel more comfortable." Of course, Jamison didn't do it by himself. Donyell Marshall added 25 points and 11 rebounds and Mookie Blaylock had 22 points and 11 assists for Golden State, which beat Cleveland for just the second time in the past 16 meetings. Still, it was just the second time this season that Golden State posted consecutive wins, and Jamison's scoring went hand-in-hand with his defense on Shawn Kemp to help the Warriors to their latest win. "He went for 37 points and 18 rebounds but I really like the four assists," Golden State coach Garry St. Jean said. "He made a couple of kickout passes on the double teams. He took the challenge trying to guard Shawn. Those are positive steps. He is doing the extra work that a young guy has to do." Jamison said he recognizes that scoring is just part of what he has to do. "It is not all about scoring," he said. "It is about elevating your teammates' play. I think I can be a big part of that by leading by example. I wasn't all about scoring. I've just been all about playing." The Cavaliers lost their fourth straight despite a career-high 38 points from Lamond Murray. "Lamond has been finding his niche offensively for us ... but the bottom line is that we lost the game," Cleveland coach Randy Wittman said. Kemp, outplayed by Jamison, scored 18 points and had 14 rebounds before fouling out with 4:28 remaining. "We didn't make plays tonight," Kemp said. "We didn't come out with a lot of intensity and energy in the first half. We didn't have a very strong approach. We struggled for four quarters." Jamison had something to do with that. He established a career scoring high for the second time in five days. He had 32 points in Golden State's win over Orlando on Monday. After trailing by three at the break, the Warriors outscored the Cavaliers 35-22 in the third quarter to take a 91-81 lead into the final period. Golden State used a 7-0 burst capped by a three-point play by Jamison to go in front 70-65. Cleveland pulled within two on a basket by Cedric Henderson before Blaylock, who had 14 points in the period, drained a 3-pointer to start a 9-2 burst that carried the Warriors to a 78-70 lead, their biggest to that point. Blaylock's hot shooting continued in the fourth quarter, when he opened the period by hitting successive 3-pointers to offset equivalent production from Cleveland. Marshall followed by muscling in a putback, and after Miller hit a 12-foot fallaway jumper, Sam Mack added a 19-foot jumper and a 3-pointer to give the Warriors a 104-88 lead with 6:27 remaining. Cleveland could get no closer than eight the rest of the way. Despite 23 points from Jamison in the first half, Golden State trailed 59-56. A tip-in by Jamison put the Warriors up 54-52 with 1:51 left in the second quarter but the Cavs then scored seven of the next nine points, starting with a go-ahead 3-pointer by Murray, who scored 19 of his points in the game's first 24 minutes. Game notesThe Cavaliers learned earlier in the day injured center Zydrunas Ilgauskas will require surgery on his injured left foot and will miss the rest of the season. ... The Cavs fell to 1-5 on their seven-game road trip that ends Saturday in Phoenix. ... St. Jean improved to 2-9 in 11 games as Warriors coach. He took over Dec. 27 for the fired P.J. Carlesimo. ... Marshall has a team-leading 13 double-doubles. ...
