SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Kelly Stinnett hit two homers, including a three-run shot caught by a fan just as Barry Bonds was about to try for a leaping grab, and the Arizona Diamondbacks sent San Francisco to its seventh straight loss, 7-4 Saturday.

The Giants fell to 0-5 at new Pacific Bell Park. Their overall skid is the worst since they lost seven in a row in July 1996.

Todd Stottlemyre (3-0) lasted five innings to win his third straight start. Greg Swindell pitched three perfect innings for his first save.

Bonds hit his fifth home run of the season, and 450th of his career, to give the Giants a 1-0 lead in the first. Stinnett tied it for Arizona in the third with a home run off Russ Ortiz (1-2).

Erubiel Durazo reached on an infield single in the Arizona fourth, and walks to Steve Finley and Travis Less loaded the bases with one out. Lenny Harris' sacrifice fly put the Diamondbacks up 2-1.

Stinnett then lofted a high drive to deep left. The ball clearly was over the fence, and Bonds timed his jump to try to rob Stinnett of a home run.

As he was about to make the catch, a young boy's glove reached on top of Bonds and caught the ball.

Realizing what he had done, the fan quickly let go and the ball trickled back into Bonds' glove, but it was too late. Stinnett had his second home of the day _ and third of the season _ for a 5-1 Arizona lead.

The Giants did not argue because the ball had cleared the wall.

San Francisco rallied for three runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Armado Rios, an RBI groundout by Felipe Crespo, and run-scoring wild pitch by Dan Plesac.

But with the potential tying run at second, Plesac struck out Marvin Benard to keep Arizona's lead at 5-4.

Arizona got RBI singles from Finley and Harris to go up 7-4 in the eighth off Alan Embree.

Notes: Stottlemyre is 4-1 with a 3.89 ERA lifetime against the Giants. ... The Diamondbacks have won seven of their last eight games played in San Francisco. ... Giants leadoff hitters are 1-for-11 with one walk in the first inning this season.
