PHOENIX (Ticker) -- Livan Hernandez allowed three hits over seven innings and Bobby Estalella hit a two-run homer, leading the San Francisco Giants to a 6-0 Cactus League victory over a split squad of Oakland Athletics.

Hernandez, who won for the first time in three spring decisions, struck out six and walked three.

Estalella slugged his fifth homer of the spring in the eighth. Felipe Crespo doubled and tripled and Bill Mueller had two hits, including a triple, and scored twice.

Kevin Appier took the loss, giving up four runs and seven hits over 4 2/3 innings. Appier, who had won his first three decisions, walked four and struck out two.

Rich Becker, John Jaha and Jorge Velandia had the only hits for Oakland.
