Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Funny Cide fell short of becoming horse racing's 12th Triple Crown winner on Saturday, succumbing to Empire Maker in the 135th Belmont Stakes. The victory was the first in a Triple Crown race for trainer Bobby Frankel and the second Belmont win for jockey Jerry Bailey.
