STOCK UP: Oklahoma is king of college football
Oklahoma football -- The Sooners destroyed Texas A&M 77-0 Saturday, proving once again that Oklahoma is far and away the nation's best college-football team. QB Jason White was almost perfect, completing 16-of-18 passes. It's the worst loss in Aggies' history.

Kansas City Chiefs -- Coach Dick Vermeil's Chiefs rolled on Sunday, remaining unbeaten (9-0) with a win over the Cleveland Browns.

Football coach John Gagliardi -- The legendary coach at St. John's (Minnesota), John Gagliardi became college football's all-time winningest coach with his 409th career victory.

Philadelphia Phillies -- The Phillies made a great move, acquiring closer Billy Wagner from the Houston Astros for Brandon Duckworth and a couple of prospects.

Vijay Singh, Chad Campbell -- Kudos to golfers Chad Campbell (for winning the season-ending Tour Championship) and Vijay Singh (for winning the PGA Tour money title, beating out Tiger Woods).

RB Rudi Johnson -- Cincinnati Bengals RB Rudi Johnson, filling in for the injured Corey Dillon, rushed 43 times for 182 yards in a win over the Houston Texans.

STOCK DOWN: Giants humiliated at home
New York Giants -- The Giants were humiliated at home by the Atlanta Falcons, a team that entered the game with one win. Also, the Indianapolis Colts were stunned by the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Minnesota Vikings were upset by the Doug Flutie-led San Diego Chargers.

Miami football -- Miami saw its 26-game home winning streak snapped, losing to Tennessee. The Hurricanes were held below double figures in consecutive weeks for the first time since the late 1970s.

TE Kellen Winslow Jr. -- Miami TE Kellen Winslow Jr. made lots of unnecessary noise after the loss. He should grow up. Right now, besides being a great player, he is Mr. Immaturity.

Penn State football -- The Nittany Lions fell to 2-8, losing 17-7 at Northwestern. It has been a tough season for coach Joe Paterno -- it's the the first time Penn State has lost six straight since 1931. It hurts me to see Paterno, one of the super people in sports, suffering.

Florida State football -- Florida State coach Bobby Bowden gave his son, Tommy, a beautiful present Saturday at the "Bowden Bowl." Bobby's Seminoles are out of the national championship picture after losing to Tommy's Clemson squad 26-10. Trust me, it will be Oklahoma vs. USC in the Sugar Bowl.

USA Baseball -- USA baseball was stunned by Mexico in the Olympic qualifying tournament. The Americans won't get the chance to defend their gold medal in the Olympics.
