Parcells is at it again

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

Oct. 13 | Dick's Stock Watch provides a fast-glance review of the past week in the world of sports, charting whose stock is up and whose is down...

Dallas Cowboys -- The Cowboys moved to 4-1 under coach Bill Parcells with a win over the Eagles. Parcells has done an amazing job in Dallas.

Kansas City Chiefs -- Coach Dick Vermeil's team rallied from a 17-point deficit to win at Green Bay in overtime. People tell me I look like Vermeil -- but he has hair, baby! QB Trent Green threw for 400 yards in the win.

Oklahoma QB Jason White -- White was on fire Saturday. He threw for four touchdowns as the Sooners blew out Texas 65-13 in the Red River Shootout.

Notre Dame RB Julius Jones -- Jones ran for a school-record 262 yards as Notre Dame stunned Pittsburgh 20-14.

Miami -- A one-touchdown underdog, Miami-Florida handled Florida State in the rain in Tallahassee (with the 22-14 score closer than the way the Hurricanes dominated).

Titans QB Steve McNair -- McNair threw for 422 yards as Tennessee blasted Houston 38-17.

Marlins pitcher Josh Beckett -- What a job done by Beckett, as he threw a two-hitter to keep the Marlins alive with a win over the Cubs Sunday. The Cubs now lead the NLCS 3-2.

Pedro Martinez, Manny Ramirez, Don Zimmer -- The Yankees-Red Sox incident in ALCS Game 3 was flat-out ugly. Ramirez should just grow up. Some players are just babies these days -- imagine if they faced Bob Gibson! Zimmer, the Yankee bench coach, is a competitor and a great guy I have gotten to know over the years. But he was wrong to be on the field in that situation. That was an ugly scene, and there was no need for it. These are two clubs with unbelievable talent playing with such emotion.

Oakland Raiders -- The Raiders have dropped back-to-back games against Chicago and Cleveland. The Browns held the Raiders to just seven points. Owner Al Davis can't be too happy these days.

Texas coach Mack Brown -- Brown is under the gun after the Longhorns were blasted by Oklahoma 65-13.

LSU and Arkansas -- Both squads were upset at home. The Tigers were stunned by the Florida Gators 19-7 while the Razorbacks fell 10-3 to Auburn.
