 MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Travis Brigley and Benoit Gratton scored third-period goals, rallying the Calgary Flames to a 3-2 exhibition victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Brigley lifted Calgary into a 2-2 tie at 7:32, beating Jose Theodore with a short one-timer off a pass from Steve Begin. Gratton, a Montreal native, put the Flames ahead with 6:55 remaining when he put in a rebound of former Canadien Valeri Bure's shot. Montreal raced to a 2-0 lead in the opening 11 minutes as Martin Rucinsky and rookie Arron Asham scored in a 2:36 span. Rucinsky's goal was his fifth of the preseason. Jeff Shantz started Calgary's comeback just 94 seconds after Rucinsky scored, notching the first of the Flames' two power-play goals. Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 22 shots for Calgary, while Theodore made 25 saves.
