BOX SCORE
NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Paula Moore hit a jumper with five seconds

consecutive loss, 85-84.
Sharron Francis' 3-pointer with two seconds left drew the Lady
Monarchs close, but it wasn't enough for the hosts, winless since

Monique Coker hit two free throws for Syracuse (1-0) to tie it
at 72 at the end of regulation, and Okeisha Howard hit two for the
Lady Monarchs at the end of the first overtime to tie it at 80.
