LOS ANGELES Kobe Bryant, the NBA's second-leading scorer,
missed his third straight game due to a sprained right ankle Sunday
when the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Orlando Magic.

Bryant, injured late in a 119-109 win at Dallas last Tuesday
night, did not dress for the game against the Magic. Previously, he
sat out a 101-99 victory at San Antonio and a 113-106 triumph over
Atlanta.
The Lakers also are without guard Ron Harper, who is on the
injured list with a sore left knee.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson said before Sunday's game he wouldn't
speculate as to when Bryant will return.
"I'm just not going to say a day," Jackson said. "We're
taking it one day at a time."
The Lakers return to action Wednesday night in Denver. Send this story to a friend | Most sent stories
