 SAN ANTONIO (AP) _ Tim Duncan scored 17 points and Derek Anderson added 11 as the San Antonio Spurs beat the New York Knicks 90-79 in an exhibition game Friday night. Duncan shot 7-for-10 from the field and had seven assists as the Spurs finished the preseason 5-3. Derrick Dial and Steve Kerr had back-to-back 3-pointers to give the Spurs a 19-point lead with 10:08 remaining. Dial finished the game 3-for-6 from 3-point range. Latrell Sprewell had 24 points and eight rebounds for the Knicks. Kurt Thomas pulled down 14 rebounds. The Spurs' Sean Elliott left the game with a left hamstring injury.
