MIAMI (AP) -- Nikki McCray scored 21 points and Chamique Holdsclaw added 15 as the Washington Mystics defeated the Miami Sol 73-51 Thursday night. Sheri Sam led Miami with 11 points, and Katrina Colleton added 10. Washington used a strong second half to rebound from Wednesday night's 81-54 loss at Houston. The Mystics led just 39-36 early in the second half, but pulled away behind McCray and Holdsclaw. The two combined for 11 points in a 14-6 surge that opened a 53-42 lead for the Mystics with less than eight minutes remaining. Miami led 10-6 to start the game, but Washington went on a 16-4 run en route to a 36-30 halftime lead.
