CHICAGO (AP) _ Chicago goalkeeper Zach Thornton made a diving save in the 93rd minute as the Fire and Tampa Bay Mutiny played to a scoreless tie Saturday night.

Thornton stopped Mamadou Diallo close-range header by diving to his left and blocking the ball with his left hand.

Tampa Bay (11-9-2) has a one-point lead over Chicago (10-8-4) in Major League Soccer's Central Division.
