Turnabout: Wizards blanked

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Dante Washington and Jason Farrell scored off corner kicks as the Columbus Crew beat the Kansas City Wizards 2-0 on Saturday in Major League Soccer.

Washington scored his team-leading 14th goal in the 54th minute, heading Robert Warzycha's pass to the right of goalkeeper Tony Meola.

In the 62nd minute, Warzycha sent a corner kick into the box and Farrell, running toward the ball, headed it past Meola.

The Wizards (11-4-5) managed just three shots on Columbus goalkeeper Mark Dougherty. The Crew (9-10-4) had seven shots on goal.

Columbus has won four straight against Kansas City.
