CHICAGO (AP) _ Wolde Harris scored his fourth goal in as many games and the New England shut down the Chicago Fire's strong attack in the Revolution's 1-0 victory Saturday night.

Chicago (5-5-1) led the league in scoring after its four goals against San Jose a week ago and had plenty of chances Saturday.

Forward Ante Razov twice missed tying goals by inches. In the closing seconds, Razov got his head on a corner kick, but the attempt skimmed the top of the crossbar, ending the game.

Harris' goal for New England (4-3-4) came when midfielder Mauricio Ramos took a corner kick, curling the ball sharply to the near post. Harris broke free of his defender and met the ball on the run with a firm header.
