SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- San Jose Clash goalkeeper Joe Cannon extended his shutout streak to 325 minutes in a 1-0 victory over the Kansas City Wizards on Wednesday night.

Mauricio Solis scored the game's only goal in the 54th minute as San Jose (19-13) ended the regular season with its fourth win in its last five games.

Midfielder Eddie Lewis set a San Jose record with his 14th assist of the season. Lewis passed to Solis, whose header got past Wizards goalkeeper Tony Meola.

The Clash went 13-3 at home, falling one short of the league record for home wins, set by D.C. United last season.

Kansas City (8-23) has lost six straight, and fell to 2-14 on the road.
