The X Games, taking place in August for the first time (previously
held in June) will follow ESPN and ESPN2 Little League World Series
telecasts on eight separate occasions. All six of ESPN2's X Games telecasts
and two of ESPN's X Games shows will follow World Series telecasts. ABC's

Championship game.
More Little Leage baseball on ESPN and ABC Sports
ESPN and ABC Sports recently extended their current contract with Little
League Baseball through the 2006 season. Beginning in 2001, ESPN and ESPN2
will increase their U.S. Regional Championship telecasts from four to eight,
while continuing to televise the World Series and International and U.S.
pool-play games. ESPN will continue to televise the Big League Baseball and
the Big League Softball World Series Championship games. ABC Sports will
increase its coverage to include the United States Championship game on
Saturday and the World Series Championship game on Sunday. The Little
League World Series will expand next year, for the first time, from eight
teams to 16.
