What's hot, not for the week

Whether you attend one of the sneaker companies' summer hoops showcases for prep players -- or you just want to look like you do -- take that tired replica basketball jersey and turn it around, so the team name is on the back and the player name is on the front. From West 4th to the Venice Beach courts and from Indianapolis to Teaneck, N.J., all the cool kids are doing it.

You always liked Jason Terry more than you liked the Hawks as a team, so why not show it? We like the look because it takes the archaic college-hoops mantra "It's not the name on the back; it's the name on the front" and turns it inside-out. Or should that be backwards? Regardless, it'll breathe new life into your old wardrobe of jerseys.
