So, maybe we shouldn't ask these nickname questions so close to breakfast. After nominating 10 choices for a new nickname for San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan, Page 2 readers picked Tim "Duncan Donuts."


	Tim Duncan is certainly the best NBA player who doesn't have a nickname.

ESPN's Chris Berman also weighed in with his favorites. Berman liked Tim "Slam" Duncan because, although it's obvious, Boomer always calls nicknames that are easy a "layup" or a "slam dunk," so it works.

Berman also said Tim "Demon" Duncan was an excellent moniker for the former Wake Forest star. It not only is a good nickname, it augments the player's background, which Berman says he tries to do whenever possible.
