VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Rookie Brad Leeb scored 20 seconds into the game as the Vancouver Canucks got goals from six different players in a 7-2 win over the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night.

Matt Cooke and Josh Holden also scored early in the first period as Vancouver converted on its first three shots and chased starting Ottawa goalie Patrick Lalime just 7:21 into the game.

Jani Hurme didn't fare much better in goal for Ottawa. Trent Klatt scored twice, including once on a two-man advantage with 13 second left in the first period. Denis Pederson and Andrew Cassels scored in the second for Vancouver.

Mike Fisher and Marian Hossa with a power-play goal, scored for the Senators (1-3-1-2).

Alexei Yashin, playing just his fourth game after sitting out last season because of a contract dispute with the Senators, was booed every time he touched the puck. He assisted on Fisher's first-period goal, giving him three goals and two assists in the preseason.

New Canucks captain Markus Naslund had three assists and Bob Essensa stopped 25 shots for Vancouver (4-1-2).
