DALLAS (AP) _ Richard Jackman scored on a power play with 11:49 remaining as the Dallas Stars beat the Phoenix Coyotes 3-2 in an exhibition game Friday night.

Jackman beat goalie Patrick DesRochers from the right point for the rookie defenseman's first goal of the preseason.

Greg Leeb and Tyler Bouck added goals for Dallas (2-1-1), which killed two two-man power Phoenix power plays in the final 7:19.

Wyatt Smith and Mika Alatalo had short-handed goals for Phoenix (2-3-1).
