KANATA, Ontario (AP) _ Radek Bonk was a healthy performer for the flu-stricken Ottawa Senators.

Bonk's 14th goal of the season with 33 seconds remaining in regulation gave the Senators a 4-4 tie with the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night.

He re-directed Igor Kravchuk's slap shot past Byron Dafoe with the Senators on a power-play after Ray Bourque gave Boston the lead at 12:33 of the third period.

"It was a great shot by Kravy, right where my stick was, and I just tipped it by (Dafoe)," said Bonk, who also added an assist.

Vaclav Prospal, Andreas Dackell and Andre Roy each had a goal and Daniel Alfredsson had two assists for the Senators, missing defenseman Wade Redden, goalie Patrick Lalime and forwards Marian Hossa and Shawn McEachern because of the flu.

Defenseman Patrick Traverse was added to the flu list when he left midway through the game.

"We could feel it at the end of the game, I was so tired," Bonk said of the depleted lineup. "But it's things that we can't control and we have to power through it."

Bourque, P.J. Axelsson and Rob DiMaio each had a goal and assist for the Bruins, who blew a third-period lead for just the fourth time in 17 times when leading after two. Anson Carter added his 22nd goal of the year.

Senators goalie Ron Tugnutt made 38 saves, including stopping a 2-on-1 chance by Joe Thornton in overtime. Dafoe stopped 24 shots for the Bruins.

"I'm a little disappointed," Axelsson said. "We relaxed too much at the beginning of the third and they came at us. You can't do that."

After Prospal scored just 52 seconds in, Axelsson and Dackell exchanged goals late in the first. For Dackell, it was just his third goal and first in 27 games.

"Everybody had to step up a little bit because we missed five guys with the flu tonight," Dackell said. "I think a lot of guys stepped it up tonight and showed they could play hockey."

Ottawa twice came back in the third to tie it. Trailing 3-2, Bonk kept the puck in at the Bruins' blue line before wristing a soft shot at Dafoe that Roy deflected in with his glove. After a review, referee Greg Kimmerly allowed the goal to stand.

In overtime, Axelsson and Bonk both shot high on back-to-back breakaways.

"We played (well) enough to get the two points," said Bourque, who was in the penalty box for slashing when Bonk scored. "If we keep playing like that, we'll get the two points."

Tugnutt returned to the lineup after missing two games with the flu. Lalime had started the last four for Ottawa.
