CHICAGO (AP) -- Dallas Stars rookie Roman Lyashenko picked an opportune time to double his season goal output. Lyashenko scored goals 10 seconds apart early in the third period Sunday night, lifting the Dallas Stars to a 3-2 comeback win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Lyashenko had just two goals in 25 previous games. "You can see it in practice; when he has time to shoot the puck, he can just bury it," Dallas coach Ken Hitchcock said. "Tonight on (his) first goal, he had time to shoot the puck. On the second one, he just had a great shot." Lyashenko tied it 2-2 at 1:02 after picking off Bryan McCabe's pass. He then beat Jocelyn Thibault for the game-winner from the right circle. "The first one was a giveaway in our end and was caught deep in the net relaxing a bit," Thibault said. "His second goal, no goalie in the world would be able to stop that shot." Mike Modano also scored for Dallas, which has won three of its last four games and improved its league-best road record to 13-9-4. Doug Gilmour had a goal and assist for the Blackhawks, who have lost three straight and four of five. Michael Nylander also scored for Chicago. Thibault stopped 19 shots and Dallas' Ed Belfour blocked 24. Nylander opened the scoring with a power-play goal, set up by Gilmour's behind-the-back centering pass, at 6:24. Gilmour made it 2-0 at 13:58 by popping a rebound past Belfour after Tony Amonte had driven to the net. Modano cut it to 2-1 with 1:13 left in the period, during a Dallas power play, with a knee-high deflection of Darryl Sydor's shot from the left point. In the second period, Amonte swept a deflection from mid-air into the net with 3:04 left, but the goal was disallowed after video review showed his stick was above his shoulder. Lyashenko tied it 2-2 at 1:02 of the third. After intercepting McCabe's pass, he raced in alone and beat Thibault with a high shot. The game-winner was a short-side shot over Thibault's shoulder.
