Jones' 1,798 rushing yards broke the ACC record, which had lasted for 30 years.

His vision pays off two ways: running and receiving. His reliable hands (22 passes for 239 yards) along with nearly 1,800 rushing yards helped him finish No. 2 in the nation in all-purpose yardage.

A student of more than just football -- he graduated in three years with a degree in psychology and is now in Virginia's grad school. Studying a pro playbook shouldn't be an issue.

This is no scat back -- Jones bench-pressed 225 pounds 24 times at the combine in Indianapolis. Jones has speed, but doesn't shy away from contact anywhere on the field.

He gets his Emmitt Smith-like power from here; Ran for ACC-record 1,798 yards last year. But don't compare him to Emmitt: "I'm no Emmitt Smith. ... I have my own style," Jones says.

No problem getting them moving in the right direction. He has been clocked in the 40 in 4.4 seconds.
