Rams receive Super Bowl rings

 Associated Press

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Rams now have the rings to remind them of their Super Bowl victory over the Tennessee Titans.

The rings were given to the 62 players, plus coaches and staff members during a party given by owners Georgia Frontiere and Stan Kroenke at a hotel in suburban St. Louis on Thursday night.

Frontiere designed the rings with the help of a St. Louis jeweler and Jostens, the Minneapolis-based sports ring maker.

The ring is a combination of 10-karat white gold and 18-karat yellow gold. Each one contains 157 diamonds, weighing about 2.75 carats.

Quarterback Kurt Warner said he would probably put his away in a few weeks, so he can concentrate on winning another one in the coming season.
