TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Warrick Dunn missed
Monday night's 24-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings with a sprained left ankle.
Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy said Tuesday that he expects Dunn to be ready Sunday when Tampa Bay plays host to the Detroit Lions in a key NFC Central game. Dunn, a third-year pro, has rushed for only 494 yards this season, but is the Buccaneers' leading receiver with 46 catches for 387 yards and one touchdown.
He was injured Nov. 28 during a 16-3 victory at Seattle. He
was held out of practice for the Vikings game as a precaution, but
had been listed as probable to play. | ALSO SEE Rookie QB King stands tall as Bucs down Vikings |
