KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 2 Tennessee has suspended senior guard Semeka Randall from the Maui Women's Tournament in Hawaii this weekend.

Randall, one of the Lady Vols' leading scorers and best defenders, was suspended for an unspecified violation of team rules.

Randall scored 16 points in the Lady Vols' only game so far this season, a 42-point win over DePaul on Saturday.

Juniors Shalon Pillow and Michelle Snow did not dress for the DePaul game and sophomore Gwen Jackson missed an earlier exhibition game, also for violating team rules.

Tennessee plays Clemson in the first round of the Maui tournament on Friday. Illinois and Alcorn State play in the other game.

The championship and consolation games are Saturday.
