 Georgia and Tennessee shared the Southeastern Conference women's basketball crown, but by virtue of its victory over the Lady Vols, Georgia gets the top seed in the conference tournament, which begins Thursday in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The four-game opening round has Alabama facing Kentucky at 1 p.m., Florida vs. Arkansas at 3:30, Mississippi State vs. Mississippi at 7 and Vanderbilt vs. South Carolina at 9:30 (all times ET).

Georgia will take on the Alabama-Kentucky winner at 1 p.m. and Tennessee faces the Florida-Arkansas winner at 3:30. Fourth-seeded Auburn takes on the State-Ole Miss winner at 7 and third-seeded LSU meets the Vandy-Carolina winner at 9:30 on Friday.

The semifinals are set for Friday at 6 p.m. and 8:30 and the championship game at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Three other teams besides Georgia (No. 2 ESPN/USA Today; No. 3 AP) and Tennessee (No. 3 ESPN/USA Today; No. 2 AP) are nationally ranked -- No. 11 Auburn, No. 12 LSU and No. 20 Mississippi State.
