| Junior Nikki Teasley, who has been on a leave of absence from the North Carolina women's basketball team since Jan. 5, will rejoin the team on a limited basis beginning Monday, Tar Heels coach Sylvia Hatchell announced Sunday.
"Nikki has been working proactively to resolve some personal issues," Hatchell said. "This work is on-going and her return to the team will be on a gradual basis. "She will watch practice on Monday and we'll go from there. It has not yet been determined when she will rejoin competition, but we're happy that she's going to be back with the team."
Teasley has missed the Tar Heels' past five games, and did not travel to Iowa, where UNC was to play Iowa State on Sunday.
