The season has seen the best -- and worst -- of times from the Ducks as inconsistency has plagued the entire Pac-10 Conference. In one game -- such as a 75-71 win over Arizona on March 4 -- Oregon might look great, and be tenacious enough to fight a 22-point deficit for a win. But in another game -- like a 78-62 loss to Stanford on Jan. 15 -- the Ducks blew a 26-point lead and end up losing by 16. So which team will show up in the Big Dance? For coach Jody Runge, preferably the one that pulled out big wins over top-25 foes UCLA, Stanford, and that has held a dozen opponents to 60 or fewer points. Like last season, the Ducks have continued to count on their defense, holding foes to an average of 62.5 points, but the Ducks need to work on eliminating their turnovers (18 per game). Sophomore guard Shaquala Williams is the key. She's averaging 17.9 points on 41.1 percent shooting, with 4.2 assists but a 1.2 assist-to-turnover ratio.
