FORT WORTH, Texas (Ticker) -- Stacy Stephens dominated inside with 20 points and 14 rebounds as No. 18 Texas crushed Texas Christian, 70-49, for its 10th victory in 11 games.

Stephens made 10-of-13 shots for the Longhorns (12-2), who had a nine-game winning streak snapped with a 67-59 setback to second-ranked Tennessee on Friday.

Kenya Larkin and JoRuth Woods contributed 14 points apiece and Tracy Cooks grabbed 10 rebounds for Texas. The Longhorns shot just 44 percent (29-of-66) from the field but forced 28 turnovers and had a 47-36 edge on the boards.

TCU (7-3) trailed by only six, 31-25, at intermission but was outscored 39-24 in the second half. Kati Safaritova and Tiffany Evans scored 12 points apiece for the Horned Frogs, who were held to 36 percent (19-of-53) shooting.

The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for TCU, which was coming off a 99-55 rout of Grambling. The 49 points were a season low for the Horned Frogs, who surpassed 60 points in all but one of their first nine contests.
