ALBANY, New York (Ticker) -- LaToya Thomas scored 20 points and Jennifer Fambrough added 14 and 11 rebounds as 16th-ranked Mississippi State held on for its fourth straight win, 62-57 over Albany.

Thomas was 8-of-14 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line for the Lady Bulldogs (8-2), who held Albany to 34 percent (19-of-56) shooting.

Cynthia Hall chipped in 11 points, six assists and four steals and backcourt mate Meadow Overstreet also scored 11 points for Mississippi State.

Jess McGinlay led all scorers with 23 points off the bench for the Great Danes (2-10). She added seven rebounds and Liz Tucker collected 12 points, four rebounds and three steals as Albany was in it throughout after a 50-point loss at Mississippi State last season.
