22) TEXAS 82, SW TEXAS ST 47 ----------------------------- AUSTIN, Texas (Ticker) -- Stacy Stephens scored 15 points, Kaira White added 11 and both powered a second-half surge as No. 22 Texas routed Southwest Texas, 82-47, for its eighth straight victory. Stephens scored eight points over the first five minutes of the second half as Texas (11-1) used a 14-2 run to open a 44-19 lead with 14:50 remaining. All of White's points came in the second half as she helped the Lady Longhorns extend their winning streak. Texas has not lost since a 71-49 setback at Purdue on November 19. Southwest Texas (4-5) was led by Kendall Arant's 14 points. She also committed eight of the team's 34 turnovers, which led to 36 Texas points.
