MIAMI (AP) -- Brandi McCain scored 21 points to lead Florida to a 79-58 victory over New Mexico in the Orange Bowl Classic on Saturday. McCain hit one of her five 3-pointers to start a 25-4 run early in the second half for Florida (8-0; No. 20 ESPN/USA Today, No. 17 Associated Press). Florida's Tombi Bell and Sherisha Hills each scored 11 points, with Hills accounting for five consecutive points after New Mexico tied the game in the first half. Vanessa Hayden added 10 for the Gators. Jennifer Williams scored 13 points for New Mexico (5-4). Jordan Adams had 12, Molly McKinnon 10.
