NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Chantelle Anderson scored 27 points as Vanderbilt beat North Carolina-Asheville 107-51 Sunday.

North Carolina-Asheville (10-5) only led twice in the first few minutes of the game, and Anderson's layup put the Commodores (7-2; No. 25 ESPN/USA Today; No. 24 Associated Press) up for good 6-5 with 15:57 to go.

Vanderbilt steadily pulled away and took a 52-23 lead into halftime. The hosts then went on a 21-point run capped by Vanessa Ferragamo's jumper to make it 105-37 with 4:46 remaining.

Jenni Benningfield scored 20 points for the Commodores, Zuzana Klimesova 18, and Jillian Danker 15. Klimesova and Danker each had eight rebounds.

Jessica Guarneri led the Bulldogs with 14 points and four assists. Izrawit Medhanie scored 11 points, Tonisha Jackson 10.
