RUSTON, La. (AP) -- Catrina Frierson and Brooke Lassiter gave No. 3 Louisiana Tech a big lift against Michigan. Frierson and Lassiter keyed a 22-4 run midway through the second half as Louisiana Tech overcame a six-point deficit to beat Michigan 84-64 Monday night. Frierson, who finished with 18 points, hit six shots in a row during the run. Lassiter scored five of her 13 points during the stretch, including a 3-pointer. Betty Lennox also scored 18 points for Louisiana Tech (6-1), and Tamicha Jackson added 16. The Lady Techsters have won five in a row and 14 straight at home. "It's obvious we're a young team," Barmore said after the win. "We still have a long way to go. We upset Tennessee and got a big win over UCLA, but we still need to get production out of our third, fourth and fifth players." Stacey Thomas led Michigan (7-3) with 20, and Raina Goodlow added 16. The Wolverines committed 29 turnovers. "I think it was obviously our turnovers," Guevara said. "We had a stretch there with back to back turnovers. I thought in the first half we did a pretty good job of stopping their transition and making them hit their outside jumpers." | ALSO SEE Womens College Basketball Scoreboard
