LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Suzi Raymant scored 23 points Saturday, including the go-ahead basket with 1:29 left, to lift No. 18 Kansas to a 76-73 victory over UC-Santa Barbara (No. 9 ESPN/USA Today) in the championship game of the KU Credit Union Classic. Raymant was selected tournament MVP. Cal-Santa Barbara's Stacy Clinesmith hit a 3-pointer with three seconds left in the first half to tie it 37-37. The Jayhawks (5-0) and Gauchos (4-3) nearly matched each other shot-for-shot in the second half, with neither team leading by more than four points.
